Rape: A comparison of punishments.

In Islam Allah has ordained much respect for women. The Messenger (May Peace Be Upon Him) brought down that if a man rapes any woman he shall be killed. He shall be stoned untill he is dead. This is not a light punishment as stoning takes a long time to kill. It is a punishment that fits the crime very well as Allah has willed it. Here is what Our Prophet Muhammad said in regards to rape:

Narrated Wa'il ibn Hujr:
"When a woman went out in the time of the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) for prayer, a man attacked her and overpowered (raped) her. She shouted and he went off, and when a man came by, she said: That (man) did such and such to me. And when a company of the Emigrants came by, she said: That man did such and such to me. They went and seized the man whom they thought had had intercourse with her and brought him to her.

She said: Yes, this is he. Then they brought him to the Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him). When he (the Prophet) was about to pass sentence, the man who (actually) had assaulted her stood up and said: Apostle of Allah, I am the man who did it to her.

He (the Prophet) said to the woman: Go away, for Allah has forgiven you. And about the man who had intercourse with her, he said: Stone him to death.

He also said: He has repented to such an extent that if the people of Medina had repented similarly, it would have been accepted from them. (Sunan Abu Dawud, Book 38, Number 4366)

This is beautiful and great. Look at what The Messenger (Peace Be Upon Him Forever) has shown. He forces the people to respect women. Women are to nolonger be raped.

Now we must unfortunatly look at the christian and jewish belief about rape. There is very little in their book about this and I am sad that I had to search for it but here it is and it is shocking:

Deuteronomy 22
22 If a man is found sleeping with another man's wife, both the man who slept with her and the woman must die. You must purge the evil from Israel.

23 If a man happens to meet in a town a virgin pledged to be married and he sleeps with her, 24 you shall take both of them to the gate of that town and stone them to deathhh—the girl because she was in a town and did not scream for help, and the man because he violated another man's wife. You must purge the evil from among you.

25 But if out in the country a man happens to meet a girl pledged to be married and rapes her, only the man who has done this shall die. 26 Do nothing to the girl; she has committed no sin deserving death. This case is like that of someone who attacks and murders his neighbor, 27 for the man found the girl out in the country, and though the betrothed girl screamed, there was no one to rescue her.

28 If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, 29 he shall pay the girl's father fifty shekels of silver. [c] He must marry the girl, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives.

In christianity and judiasm if a man rapes a virgin girl then he is not punished as the wisdom of The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) commands, instead the girl is forced to be the wife of the man that raped her! I am sorry that I had to show what these vile man made religions teach but we must be vigilant. There are muslim men who believe what the crusaders believe. They believe that a man who rapes can just marry the girl. NO! A man who rapes MUST be stoned to death.

In Islam we women are respected and treated correctly. Allah with Islam has corrected the falsehoods of christianity and judiasm. christianity and judiasm have no respect for women and we see this in their actions everyday. Inshalla Islam will rule over them and stop their hate of women.

The respect of Women in Islam

In Islam women had the right to vote in the year 600, sadly this has been stolen from us.
Men must dress modestly and women dress modestly.
Men must lower their gaze to women, out of respect, western men see women as meat.
There is no sex before marriage. Men must support us and work for us so as to feed and nurture us. In western religion the woman works for the man at home making things to sell at market. Even when a woman is in what should be her place the western man forces her to work and their man made religion supports them.
Men who rape women are stoned, in the western religion of christianity and judiasm men who rape virgin girls only have to marry the girl. Marraige is slavery in the western religions. Islam frees us from toil and slavery. In Islam we are respected as mothers and supported because we create the children through Allah's will.
Men who adulter their wives in Islam are stoned. In western religions it says that a man cannot adulter his own wife, he can only commit adultery when he takes another man's wife. Islam was given by Allah to correct these falsehoods.

Are Muslim Men Allowed to Beat Their Wives?

Our prophet Muhammed (Peace Be Upon Him) was kind to women and set women above the status that they have in christianity and judiasm. In Islam men and women are equal. Men cannot mistreat women in Islam. Women's rights are well established in our great and peaceful religion. We have the right to inheritance where christian women and jewish women do not have that right. Men are only allowed to move women who are doing things that are harem to do things that are not. Allah knows that sometimes words are not powerful enough to stop us from becoming apostate. Men are delt with harshly also when they go apostate. Any man that does not obey Allah in treating women well cannot say that he is keeping what Our Prophet (Peace And Blessings Be Upon Him) has taught.
